Argentine football legend Diego Maradona has been appointed as chairman of obscure Belarusian club Dinamo Brest.
The 57-year-old, who stood down as manager of United Arab Emirates outfit Al Fujairah last month, will begin his new position after the World Cup.
Maradona has signed a three-year deal with Brest and is tasked with "dealing with strategic development of the club".
One-time Belarusian Premier League winners Dinamo are currently eighth in the league and through to the Belarusian Cup final, where they will meet BATE Borisov next weekend.
