World number one golfer Rory McIlroy has revealed that he sat down for a chat with former president of the United States Bill Clinton.
The Northern Irishman has been celebrating winning back-to-back Majors at the British Open and the US PGA Championship.
The 25-year-old returned to the golf course at The Barclays in New Jersey last week, but has found some time to be 'educated' by the politician.
McIlroy wrote on Twitter: "Had a great time today catching up with @billclinton, always a pleasure and education spending time in his company!"
This is not the first time that McIlroy has been linked to American politics - the golfer recently nominated former president George W Bush to do the ice bucket challenge in aid of ALS awareness.
