American Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps has been named as international man of the year by GQ Russia magazine.
The 27-year-old, who has retired from competitive swimming, has been given the top honour following his successful Olympic Games in the pool at London 2012.
Phelps took the top spot due to his status as the most decorated Olympian in history and pipped nine-time Russian gymnast Larissa Latynina to the post.
Meanwhile, Phelps managed to impress at the Dunhill Links by securing a stunning 50-yard putt during a tournament in Scotland.
