Paralympic champion Oscar Pistorius has arrived at the High Court in Pretoria for the second week of his trial for alleged murder.
The 27-year-old is accused of killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp, whom he shot dead through a bathroom door at his home on Valentine's Day last year.
The double amputee's defence lawyer Barry Roux is expected to cross-examine the chief security guard of the complex where Pistorius lived when the incident took place.
Last Friday, Pieter Baba told the court that Pistorius insisted to him that all was fine when he called the athlete after neighbours alerted him to what they believed were gunshots coming from the Paralympian's home.
According to Sky News, prosecutor Gerrie Nel is expected to call on the pathologist who carried out the post-mortem examination on Steenkamp to testify at some point this week.
Pistorius, who has also been charged with gun-related offences, has denied all charges against him.
