Paralympic champion Oscar Pistorius has been found guilty of discharging a firearm in a restaurant.
The 27-year-old allegedly mistakenly fired a shot underneath a table while dining with friends at Tasha's restaurant in early 2013.
Judge Thokozile Masipa told the High Court in Pretoria this morning: "He may not have intentionally pulled the trigger - that does not absolve him from the crime of negligence."
However, the double amputee was acquitted of firing a gun through the sunroof of a car, which is in relation to an incident which was alleged to have happened back in 2012.
Pistorius was accused of discharging the firearm after being stopped by police while driving in a car with his former girlfriend Samantha Taylor and his friend Darren Fresco .
Judge Masipa told the court this morning that the evidence from both Taylor and Fresco, who she described as "dishonest", differed.
Judge Masipa added: "The state has failed to establish that the accused is guilty beyond reasonable doubt on this count and has to be acquitted."
The athlete has also been acquitted of count four, which is illegal possession of ammunition.
