Oscar Pistorius's murder trial will now run until May 16 after a week's recess was arranged for next month.
The six-time Paralympic champion is standing trial in his native South Africa accused of murdering his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp in February 2013.
A statement from the court has declared that all parties in the proceedings, which began on March 3, have agreed to break for seven days on the week commencing April 7.
Pistorius has admitted to shooting Steenkamp, but denies pre-meditated murder, claiming that he mistook her for an intruder in his Pretoria house, which he is selling to foot the legal costs of the trial.
