Oscar Pistorius accessed the internet around five hours after he originally testified that he went to sleep on the morning that he shot dead his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp, a court has heard.
Captain Francois Moller took to the stand on day 15 of the murder trial at the High Court in Pretoria to give evidence from the double amputee's mobile phone.
Captain Moller told the court that records on the phone showed that Pistorius accessed the internet at 1.48 am, which contradicts his original testimony that he and Steenkamp went to bed around 10pm.
Text messages between the couple were read out in court yesterday, with one text from Steenkamp telling Pistorius that she was sometimes "scared" of him.
Pistorius denies murder by maintaining that he mistook the South African model for an intruder when he fired gunshots through a bathroom door at his home on Valentine's Day last year.
