Rafael Nadal has confirmed that he is planning to sue the former French sports minister who claimed that he had taken drugs.
In an interview last week, Roselyne Bachelot alleged that the Spaniard's seven months out through injury in 2012 was "without a doubt due to a positive doping test".
"I'm going to sue her, and I'm going to sue everyone who is going to comment something similar in the future, because I am tired of that," Nadal told reporters on Sunday.
"There is a couple of times I heard comments like this ... this is going to be the last one, because I'm going to sue her.
"I am tired about these things. I let it go a few times in the past. Not more. A minister of France should be serious. This time is the time to go against her."
Bachelot's comments came in the wake of Maria Sharapova's admission that she failed a drugs test at this year's Australian Open.
