Premier League referee Mark Halsey could reportedly face legal action from the Professional Game Match Officials Ltd for writing a book.
The 51-year-old is thought to have been accused by the referees' governing body of breaching his contract by penning the book.
It is also believed that Halsey could be in trouble for not giving his employers three months' notice over his retirement at the end of the season, according to the Daily Mail.
Halsey will officiate Manchester City's clash against Norwich City as his final match on Sunday.
