Terror attacks in Paris kill at least 129 people as numerous incidents occur in the French capital, including in the vicinity of the Stade de France.

At least 129 people have been confirmed dead following a series of terrorist incidents across Paris on Friday night.

Explosions were heard outside the Stade de France, where France and Germany played in a friendly match, which reportedly resulted in the deaths of three people.

In the aftermath of the match, supporters flooded the field due to fears over their safety, while the players remained in the stadium overnight before leaving on Saturday morning.

French president Francois Hollande, who has declared a state of emergency and imposed border controls, had also previously been evacuated from the ground.

Police suggested that 11 people were killed at the Petit Cambodge restaurant after a gunman opened fire.

Up to 100 fatalities have also been reported at the Bataclan theatre as three attackers stormed the building, where they opened fire and later detonated suicide bombs at the venue as special forces entered.

The so-called Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the massacres. Police said that there were eight attackers who have all died, with seven of them taking their own life by suicide bomb.

France has entered three days of national mourning, but Tuesday's friendly against England at Wembley will still go ahead as planned.
