Former Welsh rugby star Gareth Thomas is reportedly poised to spend £300,000 on his very own ice rink.
The 38-year-old, who is competing on ITV reality show Dancing On Ice, is believed to be eager to continue the sport once the programme comes to an end.
"The money he's willing to put in will buy a good-sized one that people would pay to use but he really wants to use it for himself and friends," a friend of Thomas told The Sun. "He wants it just for the joy of keeping up the sport."
The rink is believed to be installed near his home in South Wales.
