Olympic cyclist Sir Bradley Wiggins reportedly shocked guests by making a crude joke while attending a charity dinner for child abuse victims.
The 33-year-old, who became the first Brit to win the Tour de France last year, is said to have jokingly asked the compere of the event to perform a sex act on him.
According to the Daily Star, the cyclist was approached by compere Jon Hammond and said into the microphone: "You've got a posh voice. I like posh voices. Suck me off."
Following the comments, it is understood that a spokesperson from Wiggins's management apologised for any offence caused.
The event was held at Rudding Park Hotel near Harrogate, North Yorks, earlier this month in aid of the Barnardo's children charity.
