World number one tennis star Serena Williams has urged women to feel confident in their own skin and not conform to society's message of looking a "certain way".
The 33-year-old, who ended her season winning a fifth WTA Finals title, has been named as the new ambassador for Australian bra company Berlei.
During filming of a Berlei advert in Miami, Williams told Australian publication The Daily Telegraph: "In our society we're often led to believe we have to look a certain way but I have learned to be proud of my curves and to embrace them.
"It's important to love who you are and realise that you're beautiful, no matter what society says and the pressure they put on you to look a certain way."
This season Williams clinched one major title, at the US Open.
