David Beckham and his wife Victoria have reportedly decided to sell their £10m mansion in Hertfordshire.
The Paris Saint-Germain midfielder is thought to be keen on selling the Rowneybury House after 14 years to a private buyer as opposed to developers, who may be keen on breaking up the mansion into apartments.
"They know there aren't lots of individuals looking for houses of this size, and developers would jump at the chance to turn it into smaller flats, which would have added value because of the Beckham connection," a source told the Daily Mail.
"But both David and Victoria spent years improving Rowneybury and they're prepared to wait for the right buyer who will continue their work, rather than someone looking to cash in on their name."
The property was nicknamed the 'Beckingham Palace' when the couple were based there.
