Real Valladolid have issued a statement announcing that they will not be continuing their legal case against former midfielder Patrick Ebert, who recently walked away from the club.
The German midfielder was strongly linked with a move away from Valladolid in January, but remained with the Spanish outfit until the end of the winter window.
His contract was due to expire this summer, but the attacker walked away from his Spanish club at the start of February, before penning a deal with Spartak Moscow.
As a result, Valladolid launched legal proceedings due to Ebert's breach of contract, but they confirmed on Monday that the case has now been closed after Spartak paid an undisclosed fee for the 26-year-old.
