Disabled Scotland supporter Neil Weir has described the organisation of the nation's Euro 2016 qualifier against Germany as a "shambles" after his view at Hampden Park was blocked by advertising hoardings.

The 34-year-old, who has cerebral palsy, has revealed that he could only just make out the heads of the players during Scotland's 3-2 defeat on Monday.

"It was a complete shambles," Mr Weir told the Daily Record. "It wasn't just me, none of us could see the game and there were two people there from England who had come up for it.

"Monday night was the first time I have been to a national game where I couldn't see anything. I was totally disgusted. I was in tears afterwards, I've never experienced anything like it."

The Scottish Football Association has offered a full refund to supporters who were affected by the hoardings.
