Tottenham Hotspur striker Jermain Defoe has reportedly been questioned by police over an investigation into death threats made to two women.
The England international is thought to have had £200,000 worth of clothes and jewels taken from his home in Potters Bar, Herts when his cousins were staying there while he was away.
According to The Sun, two girls were brought back to the home for a party and were later threatened with their lives for allegedly taking belongings from the forward's home.
Reports have claimed that Defoe was not accused of sending the threats but was questioned by police and released without charge.
