Olympic long jump champion Greg Rutherford has criticised the design of Great Britain's kit for the World Athletics Championships in Beijing.
The 28-year-old uploaded a photo of his vest to Twitter, which shows a British Athletics logo instead of a union jack flag.
Alongside the image, Rutherford wrote: "Well this isn't right... Where's the Union Jack!?!? @BritAthletics (this is the kit for worlds).
"A hasten to add I'm yet to find an athlete who wanted the change. EVERY athlete I've spoken to wants the union flag. Most annoyingly about all this is that the kit itself is amazing! IMO the best kit to compete in material-wise."
According to BBC Sport, UK Athletics has defended the design by claiming that the British Athletics brand is to "help create a strong identity", but that the union jack remains an "integral part" of the kit.
