American bobsledder Johnny Quinn accepts an invitation to join a SWAT team after making headlines for bashing down his hotel bathroom door at the Winter Olympic Games.

American bobsledder Johnny Quinn has accepted an invitation to join Denton (Texas) Police Department's SWAT team after making headlines when he broke down his hotel bathroom door at the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi.

Quinn, who also found himself trapped inside an elevator at the Games, bashed down the door after getting stuck in the bathroom.

Quinn will join the team on one of its training dates after the Games.
