Alderwood, ridden by AP McCoy, has clinched the Handicap Hurdle on the final day of the Cheltenham Festival.
The 20-1 horse came into contention for the top spot in the final stretch of the race after getting hampered following Plan A's tackle on Dee Ee Williams, who took the lead in the early stages of the race.
Despite an prominent lead, Dee Ee Williams failed to make the final four as Edgardo Sol placed second, Sailors Warn third and Plan A came in fourth.
Ubi Ace was not far behind but couldn't find the final push to make an impact at the finish.
