Finians Rainbow won the Queen Mother Champion Chase at the Cheltenham Festival to secure another victory for trainer Nicky Henderson and jockey Barry Geraghty this afternoon.

There was drama at the very first fence of the race as Kauto Stone, the half brother of Kauto Star, failed to make the leap.

Soon after, Wishfull Thinking also crashed through a fence as Finians Rainbow and defending champion Sizing Europe headed to the front of the field.

The pair were made to avoid the fence which Wishfull Thinking smashed into during the home straight, a decision which appeared to distract Sizing Europe.

Geraghty took full advantage to guide Finians Rainbow over the line for his third win of the day.
