Saturday's Steward's Cup winner Hoof It has been supplemented for the Nunthorpe Stakes at York, according to Andrew 'Chubby' Chandler.
The Mick Easterby-trained horse defied top weight to ease to victory over six furlongs at Goodwood at the weekend, receiving rave reviews for the performance.
Chandler, who is part-owner of the 4-year-old gelding, has confirmed via his Twitter account that connections will pay the £20,000 supplementary fee to ensure that Hoof It takes his chance in the Nunthorpe Stakes at York.
Chandler tweeted: "Hoof It will be supplemented for the Nunthorpe at York in a couple of weeks' time - then maybe Paris if going doesn't get too soft!"
Hoof It will step up to Group One level for the first time in the Nunthorpe Stakes at York on Friday, August 19.
