Sheikh Mohammed has expressed his 'shock' at the doping scandal that surrounded his Godolphin racing team last year.
Mahmood Al Zarooni, who was found guilty of administering banned anabolic steroids to racehorses at Newmarket, will not be allowed to work with Godolphin again.
"I was shocked," Sheikh Mohammed told BBC Sport. "I have many trainers and if one of them does the wrong things, you know, they gave him eight years, and I gave him lifetime. Finished."
Al Zarooni was given the eight-year ban in April last year.
