Unbeaten horse Frankel is the star attraction at the inaugural British Champions Day at Royal Ascot on Saturday.

The colt, trained by Sir Henry Cecil, heads eight horses declared for the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes which goes off at 15.35.

There are five contests in what is set to be the most lucrative British race day of the year, with the prize money on offer totalling £3m.

Frankel is seeking a ninth career victory in the mile-long race but trainer Cecil is not taking anything for granted.

"No race is a formality," he said. "There is no such thing as a 'good thing' but I am very happy with him."

So You Think is the favourite of a 12-strong field in the biggest race of the day, the Champions Stakes, which has prize money of £1.3m and goes off at 16:10.
