New Zealand rowers Hamish Bond and Eric Murray have set a new world record in the men's pair at Eton Dorney.
The Kiwi duo crossed the line in a time 0f 6:08:50, breaking James Cracknell and Matthew Pinsent's previous world record of 6:14:27.
The previous record had stood for 10 years since the 2002 Rowing World Championships in Seville.
Bond and Murray are currently favourites to take gold in London having not lost since they paired up at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
