Team GB's Zac Purchase and Mark Hunter have progressed to the semi-finals of the lightweight men's double sculls.
The pair have struggled with injury and form this year, but saw off the challenge of New Zealand to win the race.
Purchase and Hunter had made a superb start to the race and they remained ahead at the 1,000m mark.
As the race neared a conclusion, New Zealand were threatening to edge them into second place but Purchase and Hunter managed to hold on.
