England have set up a Four Nations final with Australia after they beat New Zealand 28-6 at the KC Stadium.

In a cagey opening half, England went ahead on 28 minutes when Lee Briscoe touched down. Kevin Sinfield kicked the goal to start a strong night with the boot.

Sinfield added another kick right before the break after Issac Luke was lucky to stay on the pitch when he had deliberately twisted Rangi Chase's ankle while the England player was on the ground.

Ryan Hall scored the home side's second try of the night when he collected Ben Westwood's pass. Again, Sinfield succesfully kicked over.

It took just over an hour for an uninspired All Blacks side to get on the scoreboard. Jason Nightingale capitalised on some sloppy England defending to go down in the corner. Benji Marshall scored the subsequent kick to make the score 14-6.

However, Sinfield put England further ahead when he scored a goal five minutes later.

The win was sealed with eight minutes to play when James Graham held off two men before he touched down. Sinfield kicked the ball between the posts to score his fifth goal of the night.

A try in the dying minutes from Sam Tomkins stretched the lead even further, with Sinfield successfully completing his sixth kick of the match.
