England coach Steve McNamara has praised the performance of full-back Sam Tomkins during yesterday's 42-4 victory over Wales.
The 22-year-old ran in four tries during their opening Four Nations fixture and McNamara praised the Wigan player's performance.
"He's been in that form for Wigan and he brought those boots with him," he said after the match.
"He's a very potent player and he looked very sharp."
Tomkins made his international debut in 2009.
