Huddersfield Giants coach Paul Anderson has challenged his side to kickstart their season against Leeds Rhinos on Thursday.
The Giants have struggled during the opening weeks of the new Super League campaign, losing both of their first two games.
However, Anderson is hoping that his players can go back to basics and earn a victory at Headingley Carnegie.
"We've not had the start we wanted which is disappointing because we're renowned for our starts. We just have to hope things switch around this year," he told Sky Sports News.
"There are no big secrets in rugby league. The team that wins is normally the teams that tackle and complete sets. There are things there for us to work at."
Huddersfield reached the playoffs in last season's Super League before losing to Catalans Dragons in the preliminary semi-finals.
