Warrington Wolves captain Adrian Morley will miss his side's Carnegie Challenge Cup quarter-final against Wigan on Saturday due to an eye injury.
The England prop has missed the club's last three games after being concussed in the win over St. Helens on June 24.
Coach Tony Smith said that even though the concussion has subsided, there is still damage to Morley's eyes and that the club are unable to put a date on his return.
"It's more to do with the controlling muscles of the eye which have had a little bit of bruising," said Smith.
"It's a bit like having a dead leg in a muscle. It just needs time to repair in order to function best again."
Morley joined the Wolves in 2006 after spells with Leeds Rhinos, Sydney Roosters and Bradford Bulls.
