Samoan international Misi Taulapapa has joined Hull Kingston Rovers from Sheffield Eagles on a one-year contract.
The 29-year-old, who spent two seasons in the Championship with the Eagles, has revealed that he cannot wait to get his Rovers career started.
"I'm excited," said Taulapapa. "It's a good opportunity for me to challenge myself against the best and I'm looking forward to it.
"It has been quite difficult coming from NRL [National Rugby League] to the Championship but I've just been trying to keep the faith, play hard and I've got an opportunity now to prove myself."
The winger has also played for NRL teams Cronulla and New Zealand Warriors.
