London Wasps have made it five wins from five in Pool 4 of the Challenge Cup with a 26-13 victory over Bayonne, who remain second.
There was a fast start to the game, with a number of penalties scored. Andy Goode hit two either side of a Martin Bustos Moyano kick to put the visitors 6-3 ahead.
Moyano levelled matters in the 14th minute before another kick from Goode put Wasps 9-6 up coming into the half-time break. However, a Charlie Davies try extended the lead.
A Mark Chisholm try converted by Moyano drew Bayonne to just a point behind, but Wasps' superiority showed from that point on.
A Joe Launchbury effort was converted by Joe Carlisle on 63 minutes before the scoring was completed by a final try from Tom Varndell.
