Saracens fly-half Owen Farrell has admitted that he and his teammates had to work hard to beat Northampton Saints in the Aviva Premiership semi-finals.
Farrell kicked over 19 of his side's points on Saturday as they earned a 29-24 victory over the champions at Franklin's Gardens.
The teams were all square following a cagey first half, but Sarries turned the screw after the break to progress.
"We have got to work hard this week and make sure we are prepared," Farrell told BT Sport. "We have had to work hard to get here. In the last couple of years we have been right up there but things have not gone all our way this year.
"We will put the work in this week and we will look forward to next week's game."
Saracens will face either Bath or Leicester Tigers in next weekend's final at Twickenham Stadium.
