Leicester Tigers have staged a dramatic comeback to beat Worcester Warriors 19-14 in tonight's Aviva Premiership encounter at Sixways Stadium.

The narrow defeat is Worcester's first on home turf since September 1.

The home side stormed into a 14-0 lead inside the opening 25 minutes thanks to a David Lemi try and three penalties from Andy Goode.

The Tigers gave themselves a lifeline in the final moments of the first half when Scott Hamilton touched down.

Chris Pennell missed two kicks at the start of the second period for Worcester before the visitors were awarded a penalty try in the 55th minute.

Toby Flood, who was unconvincing with the boot, added the extras to cut the deficit down to two points.

Flood could have put Leicester in front with seven minutes left to play, but his kick dropped short.

However, the away side snatched the win with just a minute left on the clock when they were given a second penalty try of the evening, which Flood converted.
