Great Britain were unable to defend their Olympic star title today, finishing with silver as Sweden took the gold medal.
Iain Percy and Andrew Simpson were well in the running to take the gold medal at London 2012.
The final 300 metres saw the British pair lose the overall advantage as they finished in eighth place.
The Swedish pair of Fredrik Loof and Max Salminen finished in first place with a time of 32:12, ahead of New Zealand and Germany.
However, the overall rankings saw Brazil take bronze, Great Britain win silver and Sweden claim the gold medal.
