British Paralympic sailor Hannah Stodel has declared that anything other than a gold medal at the Rio 2016 Olympics will be considered a failure.
The 29-year-old, whose Sonar crew were denied bronze at London 2012 after being penalised and placed fifth, described next year's tournament as a "do or die" event.
"We're out for gold and nothing else," she told BBC Sport.
"I've been hunting this medal for so long now. This will be my last Games, so to finish on a high note would be fantastic.
"It would mean so much, it would be everything."
Rio 2016 will be the last Olympics to include sailing as a Paralympic event after the Paralympic Committee ruled that taekwondo and badminton will be replacing it from 2020.
