Team England trap shooter Charlotte Kerwood has revealed that the different approach of her new coach Ahmed Al Maktoum has had a positive impact on her technique.
Kerwood, who has won gold three times, said that her training regime will become tougher from the winter onwards in preparation for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.
"I've just started working with Ahmed, it's going really well, he's an amazing guy and an amazing coach," she told Team England. "We had a training camp in Cyprus in May and that went well. It's just working on little bits. We'll start our hard training in winter heading towards Rio.
"He has a different approach to anyone I've worked with before and he is a very positive man. He makes you feel more confident. And he's completely nuts as well so our personalities go together. And he buys dinner, he's a gentleman."
Kerwood won the trap event for the first time in 2002 as a 15-year-old.
