Great Britain's Steven Scott has narrowly missed out on a podium finish in the men's double trap at the inaugural European Games.
The 30-year-old set a new Games record earlier in the day to advance into the semi-finals, with a combined score of 142 at the Baku Shooting Centre.
Scott failed to match those heights and finished outside the top four, however, meaning a place in both the gold and bronze-medal finals passed him by.
Richard Bognar of Hungary and Vitaly Fokeev of Russian Federation will now battle it out for gold, while Andreas Loew and Antonino Barilla, of Germany and Italy respectively, will meet in the other final.
