Team GB's Ed Ling has narrowly missed out on a medal in the men's trap final at the European Games, finishing fourth in Baku this morning.
The 32-year-old progressed from the qualifiers earlier, but had to shoot in the bronze medal match after posting the fourth-highest score in the semi-final.
The Great Britain shooter faced Giovanni Pellielo of Italy for the final spot on the rostrum, but the 45-year-old came out on top, winning 13-11.
The gold-medal match was a closely-fought contest between Russia's Alexey Alipov and Erik Varga of Slovakia, who had posted the joint-highest score in qualifying, before the latter topped the standings in the semis.
It was Alipov who came out on top in the final though, beating the Serbian 15-14 to win his country's 14th gold of the Games.
