Ronnie O'Sullivan has admitted that he was surprised by the "easy" nature of his World Championship victory against Shaun Murphy.
'The Rocket' eased past his fellow Englishman 13-3 with a session to spare at The Crucible to set up a clash with Barry Hawkins in the semi-finals.
"You never know what type of match you're going to get," O'Sullivan is quoted as saying by City AM. "You can expect a really tough match and it turns out easy like it did with Shaun.
"I didn't expect to win that easy. He's a free-scoring great potter. He just missed a few balls and let me in easily. I still had to pot them but I didn't have to fight for my chances."
Elsewhere on Wednesday, Neil Robertson booked his place in the final four with a narrow 13-11 win over Judd Trump - racking up his 100th century break of the season en route to his victory.
