Teenager Stan Moody's run at the Snooker Shoot Out has come to an end in the second round after he was edged out by Oliver Lines.

The 15-year-old hit the headlines earlier this week as he made progress in the quick-fire event, but he was given minimal opportunities by the more experienced Lines on Saturday afternoon.

While the pair are no strangers to each other due to playing at the same club, Lines put any friendship aside by given his opponent minimal chances.

Although the 26-year-old only posted 11 points across two scoring visits, he forced Moody to be patient and the youngster ultimately ran out of time.

A final scoreline of 11-2 did not reflect a lack of entertainment, however, with the Leicester crowd fully engrossed until the final seconds.
