Judd Trump has slammed Ali Carter for his "childish" antics after suffering a 13-12 defeat to him at the World Snooker Championships.
The Essex man blew a 12-9 lead to bow out at the Crucible in the second round but was seemingly unhappy after with his opponent after the match.
Carter sarcastically applauded a fluke shot from Trump in the 23rd frame, which left snookered behind the brown and yellow balls.
The 22-year-old believes that it was an unnecessary gesture.
"If he wants to do that, then it's up to him, but he's 30-odd years old and it's a bit childish," blasted Trump.
Carter will now play Wales's Jamie Jones in the quarter-finals.
