Judd Trump has revealed that he is proud to have beaten Shaun Murphy in the quarter-finals of the World Championship in Sheffield.
The 23-year-old won a thrilling encounter 13-12 at the Crucible on Wednesday to reach the last four of the competition for the second time in his career.
"I'm happy, I'm really pleased to be into the semi-finals," Trump is quoted as saying by the Daily Mail.
"A lot of people wrote me off but friends, family and management all believed in me. I believed in myself and I'm just really proud to have come back."
Trump, who lost in the 2011 final to John Higgins, will face either defending champion Ronnie O'Sullivan or Stuart Bingham for a place in the final.
