Defending champion Mark Selby has reached the quarter-finals of the UK Championship with a comfortable victory over Graeme Dott.
The Englishman moved into a 3-1 lead early on before wrapping up the win 6-2 against the Scot in York.
Selby will now face fellow countryman Barry Hawkins with a place in the semi-finals awaiting the winner.
Hawkins sealed his progress earlier on Wednesday thanks to a 6-5 triumph against Shaun Murphy.
