England squash veteran Nick Matthew remains on course to defend his CWG gold after comfortably dispatching countryman Peter Barker to move into the Monday's final.

England squash ace Nick Matthew is one win away from retaining his Commonwealth gold after beating compatriot Peter Barker 3-0 in today's semi-final in Glasgow.

The 2010 champion downed his fellow Englishman 11-13 13-11 11-6 to move into Monday's final and edge closer to defending his singles crown.

Tomorrow's final is scheduled to begin at 4pm.
