Australian veteran surfer Taj Burrows believes that it is going to be difficult to stand in Gabriel Medina's way on his quest to become world champion.
The 20-year-old is currently at the top of the world rankings heading into the eighth event on the men's tour at Trestles, California.
"[He] seems invincible at the moment and he's definitely the one to beat," The AAP quotes Burrows as saying. "There's a good battle at the top of the rankings."
Burrows sits at number six in the ASP rankings, while his fellow Australians Mick Fanning and Joel Parkinson are also in the field in fifth and third respectively.
