Scotland's Duncan Scott has narrowly missed out on gold in the 200m individual medley at the Commonwealth Games.
The 20-year-old maintained his remarkable record of medalling in every single event he has competed in on the Gold Coast - this is his sixth medal to date - and was almost top of the podium tonight.
Scott produced an impressive last length, coming from sixth at the time of the final split to challenge Australia's Mitch Larkin for gold, although his final time of 1:57.86 was 0.19 seconds short of the Aussie, who set a new Games record.
Australia also claimed bronze after Clyde Lewis swam a time of 1:58.18, while Scott's teammate Mark Szaranek finished fourth on 1:59.24.
Scott's seventh and final event comes later tonight when he participates in the 4x100m medley event.
