Australia's Mitch Larkin will head into tonight's 200m backstroke semi-finals as a confident competitor after claiming that it is "achievable" to take home the crown at the World Championships in Kazan.
The 22-year-old, who won gold in the 100m final on Tuesday, qualified fastest in the 200m heats this morning.
"I came here with a job to do - the 100, 200, 50 and the relay, so I was happy to get that gold and then really focus on the process and getting though the rounds," Larkin told SwimVortex.
"If you look at the boys who swim the 100 and the ones who swim the 200 it's quite separate. I think it is quite achievable to win both."
Australia have won six medals, including three golds, so far in the meet.
