Bahrain's Alzain Tareq has broken the record as the youngest ever swimmer to take part in the World Swimming Championships, competing in the event in Kazan at the age of 10.
Tareq, who has a Scottish mother, set a time of 41.13s in yesterday's 50m butterfly heats, which was the slowest time in the event.
However, her time of 35.78s in this morning's 50m freestyle heat was good enough for 105th out of 119 entrants.
Tareq is aiming to qualify for the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.
