Rebecca Adlington believes that Aimee Willmott has a "great future" ahead of her after the Team England swimmer grabbed silver in the individual medley.
Willmott was beaten by Team Scotland's Hannah Miley, but Adlington says that Willmott can achieve even more in the pool.
"Aimee has a great future ahead of her, and I think she will have a lot more to give in the future," Adlington told BBC Sport.
"It's great for Hannah Miley, she hit a bit of a plateau with her career and she's answered that. She's swimming to her strengths now which is great."
Adlington won bronze in the women's 400m and 800m freestyle at London 2012.
